Loved this, I have a 3 month old (my first) and this helped me reminisce about the third trimester and all that was before all that comes next. Such a special and strange time. You’ve captured it so well.

holy cow, that last paragraph! the heat, the life, the too-much-ness, the glory. you named it perfectly.

I thoroughly enjoyed this piece. Thank you for writing it. It gives me warmth & awe. I’m currently pregnant for the fifth time with my (hopefully) second & last baby.

Side note - the link for the tens machine is wrong I believe! I’m interested in it myself :)

This is stunning!! Just about 29 weeks pregnant with #2 and this was a helpful and hopeful perspective shift for me!

Beautiful beautiful words. I teared up reading about loving this child every day for the rest of their life. I’m also pregnant with my third, and I’m 36 weeks. You captured this time so perfectly. All the best for the rest of your pregnancy and birth

I am pregnant with my first baby and I think we are due right around the same time. I am 34 weeks pregnant too!

I may ignorant, but I relate so much to the positive anticipation of birth. I cannot wait to meet baby and bring them into this world. I don’t know the depths of the underworld that birth will take me too, but I just feel so ready to hold baby in my arms.

Also, I need to get a maternity robe!!!!!

Amy this was SUCH a beautiful piece of writing. I feel apprehension and longing for a third child and this also made me feel such lovely hope. Many blessings for your birth and postpartum 💕
