Congratulations, Amy! I’m pregnant too, just a tad ahead of you, due in August. (And writing about it on my own Substack!) It will be so meaningful to read all of your words during this pregnancy and postpartum. Also, that poem was stunning.
Congratulations! I so treasured your writing on your first pregnancy on your blog- which I read before I was pregnant with my first. I was pregnant at a similar time to you when you were pregnant with your second, and now I am pregnant with you again, this time with my second. I am due in early August. It feels special to be sharing this time with you again even though we do not know each other. Also, yes yes yes, first trimester is brutal and all-consuming.
Oh Amy, congratulations! I'm really excited for you. I just had my first baby at the end of last year, and it's absolutely wild how much just having one baby gives me an emotional context for the idea of being pregnant again and having another baby. I can now understand the hugeness of what it means to have a family, how much you stretch and expand, how much your heart explodes, in agony and love! I've been enjoying learning from your journey, reading some of your recs (After Birth, I have Matrescence on hold) and following along. Sending you a hug through the ether for surviving first trimester! You're amazing!
Oh, congratulations Amy!!! I've been there with the surprise baby, and it's jarring. Hopefully you get some relief once the second trimester rolls around!
Congratulations! I’m so happy for you and so excited to read whatever beautiful work emerges from this pregnancy experience.
Congratulations!! I’ve enjoyed following your thoughts on motherhood as I move through similar stages (our third was born this morning!).
Congratulations!! You’ve captured it all so poetically (unsurprisingly ☺️) ❤️
Ah congrats Amy!!

Congratulations, Amy!! We’re expecting our third, too, this July. Makes what you’re sharing especially meaningful to me right now.
I so appreciate your honesty in everything here — ups, downs, and in-betweens. ❤️
Congrats, Amy + family!! 💛
